Grant Collins is Managing Director of barsolutions, a consultancy which works with bars internationally including New York, Bali, Japan and Hong Kong. Originally from the UK, Grant Collins' bar career started back in the early 1990's in the USA where he worked for the international chain TGI Fridays. Returning to the UK Grant became the Bar Manager of Bank Restaurant and Bar in the Aldwych, London which was awarded the coveted "Times Restaurant of the Year" in 1997 with Bank Bar being recognised as "One of the Top 100 Bars in the World" in 1999. Grant relocated to Australia in mid 2001 and took charge of the Water Bar at the W Hotel. He won the Australian Liquor Industry's "Australian Bar Manager of the Year" award in both 2002 and 2003. Grant has consulted for Zeta Bar at the Hilton Sydney since it opened its exclusive doors in July 2006. It has since become renowned throughout Australia for its stunning interior, stylish service and cutting edge cocktails. Zeta was named "New Cocktail Bar Of The Year 2006" at the Australian Liquor Industry Awards.
